MALTESE RINGS ONLINE Class This is a very cool ring and works great with most any types of stone settings. I will give you 4 different pattern templates to etch on to your metal. Etching video will also be included.
I'll show you how to fabricate 2 oval bezels and cut the seats with a bur. I will show you how to set and MODIFY a pre made basket setting which will be on the supply list for the center stone, it's much easier than making one from wire and very inexpensive :)
You will learn how to file the bezels and settings to fit the curve and we will cover tube settings, solder them all on together, polish and set the stones. While this class can be completed with a butane torch, I always recommend that you use a proper acetylene or propane+oxy torch. Special tools Burs, miter jig and oval bezel mandrel in addition to basic metal smith tools. Intermediate level class. This will be a great class! I hope you can join me!
