I’ll teach you silver etching, how to form and solder layers and make silver balls, and create a cabochon bezel setting that fits on a curved ring.
RE: tools required for this class. I recommend a proper torch. If your serious about smithing it's an investment you should make. Though students have completed this class successfully with butane torches, I suggest you consider a real torch (oxy/propane or acetylene). Please check out my FREE videos for TORCH INFO. You should already have a basic metalsmith tools, but if you don't of course the expense for tools will be higher. Watch my video on Intro to metal smithing in the free vids section, if you need more info on tools.
I also recommend you get a miter Jig for cutting straight ring shanks, if you do not have a shear but this is optional. You will also need a few good files if you do not have them already will not give out the tools list until class begins.
