This class is for advanced students, requires precise seat cutting in prongs with accuracyand problems solving skills. This is a gorgeous setting! I will teach you how to make the setting and curve the bezel to fit the ring shank and how to solder it on your ring (making the ring shank is not included as it is an advanced class , you will make a ring shank on your own) . I’ll teach you how to make a long tapered cone using a round 17degree bezel block, and create prongs carve seats and set the stone.

While I do not give out supply lists until after you purchase so please review these TOOL NOTES: you’ll need basic metalsmithing tools including a flex shaft, several burs, drill bits, and a few special files. I recommend a proper torch , but you could use a butane if thats all you have. You will need a hands free device to hold your ring, if you don’t have a GRS ball vice or bench mate ( I demo in the class) you can even use an Economy vise which is about $20 if that is all you have .
