Video class preview : https://youtu.be/r8VacejCTBM In this class you will learn to etch silver, form a synclastic cuff, solder on filigree wire, embellishments and stone settings. I will show you how to set will set 4 cabochons and learn how to make a tapered cone setting OR a round faceted setting for the center if the cone is too difficult for you. To make the center cone setting, you will need a 17 degree Bezel Block tool with round holes that have 10 & 11 mm sized holes. Should you choose NOT to make the cone setting and buy the bezel block, I have included instructions for a non tapered faceted stone setting also!
Of course you may also use or other decorations of your choice your cuff like the example on the left with only silver and flowers. You will need a vice. ETCHING CLASS is also included. And best of all NO expensive forming tools are needed! You do NOT need a hydraulic press in this class, although I will teach you how to use one if you have one. This class is level 2 & 3 You will need a proper torch, acetylene or propane+oxygen. BUTANE WILL NOT WORK for this project you need a lot of HEAT!
