Due to the large amount of students taking my classes vendors run out of supplies, II am showing several Rio Grande, Otto Frei, stachurawholesale.com, and Contenti.com are all great places for jewelers to shop. . IF you will be etching, Ferric Nitrate takes a long time to ship also, its quicker to order it From Ebay or Otto Frei.
PLEASE DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH or post the templates or your unfinished work, and don't share the process out side of the private group.. People will attempt to copy your work and the templates. Once you have finished them.., feel free to share. Thank you!

Feel free to use your own etching patterns if you choose too you can find black and white patterns online.
IN THIS CLASS: You can texture your ring by etching on to silver, with a rolling mill or a texture hammer. If you wish to etch your silver watch my etching video below.
PART 1 below, covers sizing , texturing your ring with a hammer and rolling mil, measuring, cutting filling and forming the ring shank, soldering the join and anti-clastic flaring.
PART 2 covers decorating the ring, Soldering embelishments , fabricating the faceted stone bezel, adding gallery wire, and creating the curve.
Part 3 is the final video , covers curving the bezel, polishing and setting the stone.
